Nisa Lee is a chef and caterer that offers eclectic cuisine that captures the bold flavors of exotic locales like Thailand, Morocco, Fiji, the Caribbean and Spain for intimate dinners, cocktail parties, business occasions and benefit events and for clients like Halle Berry, Vanessa Williams, America Ferrera, Ana Ortiz, Hillary Clinton, and Chef Dan Barber owner of the renowned Blue Hill at Stone Barns to name a few.

Nisa’s eclectic cuisine subtly highlights the bold flavors from some of her favorite places carefully balanced with nuances of fresh flavors and ingredients that appeal to a broad audience and make this cuisine unmistakably hers.

Nisa’s great success is due largely to her creativity, vision and attention to each client’s individual needs.  She works closely with all of her clients and personally plans each detail of every event.

In 2008, Nisa  wrote a monthly column called, “Effortlessly Exotic Entertaining” for InTown Westchester Magazine, a regional lifestyle magazine, offering “how to” advice on entertaining, food and drink recipes along with photographs of Nisa and her work. She authored three extensive feature articles for InTown in 2008.

Nisa has also appeared on WRNN –TV “News Center Now” to give advice on cooking and entertaining ideas and appeared live on News 12 Westchester to do a cooking demonstration and Le Dolce Network to discuss her eclectic cuisine.

Nisa has also appeared in Pregnancy Magazine, People, the cover of InTown Magazine three times and has been featured in InTown, Westchester Magazine, The New York Times “Dining In” section, Brides Magazine, BiZBash Event Style Reporter “Fresh Faces”, The Journal News, and The Westchester Wag.  Nisa is also currently working on her first cookbook.

Born in Khonkaen, Thailand, Nisa immigrated to the United States with her family as a toddler.  A product of Yonkers, New York and a graduate of SUNY Stonybrook on Long Island, Nisa initially pursued a career in commercial banking in Boston and New York before switching to non-profit work, where she rose to Director of Special Events with the March of Dimes.

She now resides in Pelham Manor, New York with her husband Duncan, three daughters Samantha, Audrey and Olivia, and son Cole.  Duncan, a former  banker, now helps her run the company, focusing on marketing and advertising.  An avid runner, Nisa has completed the New York City Marathon twice.
